Sweet
TV
Sweet TV is a web based television
station run by Sweet Entertainments at the
Edinburgh Festival.
Started in 2003, and now with viewers from all
around the world, Sweet TV broadcasts
extracts from shows, daily news reports,
reviews and short documentaries direct from
the streets and venues of the all the
Edinburgh Festivals.
Fringe TV
Sweet is
currently in collaboration with
Those Media Guys
on a new Fringe-wide TV station called the
Edinburgh Digital Signage Network (also known
as Fringe TV). This exciting new
project is currently in development with the
Fringe Office
and several leading Edinburgh Fringe venues.
Fringe TV will be the first and only
truly Fringe-wide media reaching over a
million people during August, broadcasting
content all across the city of Edinburgh via
plasma and huge outside broadcast screens in
the streets, bars and all major venues. Full
roll-out for this new project is expected in
2008.
