Unravelling HD
What is High Definition?
Why choose HD?
Why is the take-up of HD being slowed down?
What are the implications for the future of cinema?

A panel of experts from different industry sectors demystify the key issues, and take questions from supporters and sceptics.

Chaired by: Julian Mitchell (High Definition Magazine) Speakers include: Barry Basset (VMI), Mark Foligno (Molinare), Tony Salmon (Dir), Carole Sheridan (Scottish Screen), Hazel Wright (BBC Worldwide)

Preceding the discussion there will be a screening of a trailer of the documentary “Beyond the Margin, the Life of John A. Alonzo” fresh from the editing suite in Germany, about the American cinematographer and his HD experience in the early 90s, presented by Montagnola Productions.

Followed by a light buffet kindly supported by Molinare.

Molinare is one of Britain's longest established and most highly respected post-production houses, offering the widest range of facilities in central London and an expertise in HD.
